Seascape
Getting back into watecolours, they don't take up to much space in my room and are unpredictable.
Also I like the dreamy scenes that can be created and rustic.

nock nock
Pencil sketch on old brown paper. More of a colour study.
I really enjoy coloured pencils for there overall look and smooth texture.

Ellis
Blue and red pencil sketch on vanilla paper, I like doing these to break up my style and keep my portraiture skills up, it looks easy.

Volley
Rough sketch before bed, started off as a usual figure then added dimension and a unusual peeling of a sphere, maybe a stylized view of a ball...not sure.

Donica - painted
Finished painting, purposely didn't fill in all the sections.
This is the last of the Mannequin series, 4 of 4.
If my scanner was bigger I could of captured all the wood around the figure, which gives it space. I'll frame it and take a photo later. 260mmx350mm. Painted on Japanese White ash.
Danica - outlined/stage 3
This is the latest and last of the Mannequin series, 4 of 4 paintings.
Thought I would post third stage of the process.

The Three top paintings from the Mannequin Series
The three in the white frames are currently in the air... or truck, over Australia to Perth where they will be shown in the Over Growth 2 Exhibition curated by Creepy. I have the last of the series drying in my room, would have been good to send all 4, but for now their sort of a triptych. I'll miss these ones too. Sometimes its good when paintings don't sell.
Swallow
All bubble wraped up and going to a new home!
Was on my wall for over a month, now its time to paint another o fill its spot. Sothing like Robotech maybe?
Falling Apart
One of my favorite paintings, is in the mail flying to a new home.
But he wont be alone as he is joined by another one called Swallow.

Conflict pirates
Latest painting this month (jan 09), Ive done others but this one hits home.
Its going in the direction I want and marks a crucial point in my artistic timeline.
To the viewer "it need to be viewed at, not just looked at".
